Q: Can I register to attend for one day?

A: One day rates are available**.  Online registration is now closed, please register on-site at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center beginning on April 17, 2012 at 7 am. The registration rates are as follows:

**One-day registration can only be used one time and for one day only. If you wish to attend for more than one day, you must register for the entire meeting.

Q:  How do I register and what is the deadline?

A: Advance registration is now closed. Please register on-site at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center beginning on April 17, 2012 at 7 am.

Q: What is included in the registration fee?

A: Your registration fee entitles you to admission to over 250 scientific sessions, the ability to earn up to  31 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™, admission to the Opening Ceremony, complimentary shuttle service between hotels and the Convention Center, 3 days admission to the exhibit hall, an ACP bag, automatic entry into raffle drawings, and much more.

Q:  Is CME credit available at Internal Medicine 2012?

Q: How many people attend Internal Medicine?

A:  Over 6,000 physicians and medical professionals attend Internal Medicine each year.

Q:  Can my spouse attend Internal Medicine 2012 with me?

A:  Spouses and guests are welcome to attend Internal Medicine 2012 with you. Guests can register for a reduced fee of $45 ($50 after February 15, 2012.) Guest registration entitles them to admission to the Opening Ceremony, complimentary shuttle service between hotels and the Convention Center, a complimentary breakfast event, 3 days admission to the exhibit hall, an ACP bag, entry into a raffle drawing, and much more. However, guests are not permitted in the scientific sessions. Co-workers or an associate within the medical industry may NOT register as a Guest.

Q: What is the cancellation/refund policy for Internal Medicine 2012?

A: Notice of registration cancellation for Internal Medicine 2012, Guest Registration and pre-courses must be in writing via mail, fax, or e-mail. Cancellations will not be accepted by telephone. Postmark, fax or e-mail date will determine the amount of refund according to the following schedule:

Before 12/18/2011:  Full refund
12/18/2011-4/05/2012:  Refund registration less $100 administrative fee
After 4/05/2012:   No refund

If your badge and tickets have been mailed at the time of cancellation, you are required to return these to ACP Headquarters to receive the applicable refund. Refunds will not be issued at Internal Medicine 2012. A refund that results from a cancellation or change to your registration will be returned to original payer and in the original method of payment.

Q: Will WIFI cards for internet access be available on-site?

The business center does not have WIFI cards available on-site.  Please make arrangements prior to arriving at the convention center.
